Samantha has had a lifelong passion for food, starting her career studying Hotel Management, where she received her formal culinary training. She then went on to work in various roles within the hospitality industry.

This interest for food was further encouraged while working on numerous food brands within the FMCG marketing field. As a brand manager she was involved with product introductions and promotions on an ongoing basis, working closely with the creative teams on many photographic shoots.

With 20 years of hospitality management and food marketing experience, Sam's move into food styling is a natural career progression, combining her culinary skills and wide professional experience to produce inventive, appealing and creative images which answer to her clients brief. Making food look beautiful, fresh and appealing is what she loves to do.

In a short space of time Samantha has gained an impressive client base and extensive experience working on both local and international TV commercial shoots as well as on many stills assignments.

Samantha is based in Cape Town where she manages her food business: 'The Smoking Shed' and writes a food blog: www.drizzleanddip.com. She is available for food styling work within print and TV, and for recipe development projects.
